A lack of clean, safe-to-use drinking water is a growing problem across the globe and it’s a condition that leads directly to millions of children and adults deaths each and every year. Water is of course essential for survival and the hard truth is that as a result of pollution, overpopulation, drought, contamination and a lack of sanitation and more, people are suffering from its absence, its altered, unsafe state or both.

The basic sanitation services and systems that developed countries have in place are more often than not lacking in impoverished communities and countries. This unfortunately leads to the spread of disease and other toxins, to the contamination of drinking water and the land and much more.
