Amend Foundation is dedicated to giving children across the globe an active voice in their own lives and circumstances. Far too often children are kept quiet and in the background, unable to speak about what is affecting them and unable to participate in decision making that affects their own future.

We continue to develop and deploy programs across the world that are designed to help alleviate these issues. By providing children an outlet, a voice and a platform the stake that they have in a situation is revealed on a larger scale. Children can help inspire others in their own community and in their overall region to take more action or respond to a particular situation or need.

Of course, helping children become more involved, educated, active and aware doesn’t just help them today, it helps them and their entire communities in the future. As adults they will be better prepared and more experienced in many crucial areas that will enable them to make more of a positive impact.

Child participation programs are a great way not only to encourage the development of children but also to enable other social programs to work on a larger scale as well.
